Naloxone 101 Training
August 18, 2025 @ 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Learn how to safely and effectively administer intramuscular naloxone.
Naloxone is a medication used to rapidly reverse an opioid overdose by blocking the effects of opioids in the body. It can save a life! If you are a manager, have or live in staff housing, work with people who use substances, are exposed to, and/or enjoy occasionally using substances, this can be beneficial for you. It is a great skill to have that can help combat opioids in our community.
This short 101 course is facilitated by both our community paramedics, Alex & Rachelle. It will be held at the WCRS Hub and take roughly 1-2 hours.
