SMILE – Supporting Meals Improving Lives of Elders Wednesdays

Connect, share stories, and engage in exciting activities with your community while savoring a deliciously prepared soup or stew. Every week brings fresh opportunities to explore crafts, presentations, skill-sharing sessions, and much more.

This week’s SMILE is a dental hygiene presentation with Kelly Ballies and two delicious soups by The Common Loaf bakery.

This program extends beyond the community hall by packaging the soups prepared during the social and delivering them to seniors at home through the Pacific Rim Hospice Society’s Better at Home Program. This service ensures homebound seniors receive nutritious meals and remain connected to the care and support of their community. Any remaining soups are available for purchase at the Community Hall on a
sliding scale of $4-$6, with proceeds supporting the continuation of this valuable program.
