Program Description
The Substance Use Outreach Program provides one-on-one support for individuals, as well as for friends or family members of anyone dealing with substance use challenges.
Supporting Wellness, Strengthening Communities
Emotional Support
Providing a safe space for individuals and their loved ones to
express feelings and receive guidance on managing
emotional challenges related to substance use.
Substance Testing Support
Offering ‘Test Your Supply’ kits to ensure substances are safe, helping reduce the risk of overdose and promoting safer choices.
Harm Reduction
Providing strategies to minimize the negative effects of substance use, focusing on safety and informed decision-making.
Assistance Accessing Services and Programs
Helping individuals connect with addiction treatment programs, counseling, and other support services to aid in their recovery.
Outreach services are available in the communities of Ahousaht,
Tofino, Ty-Histanis, Hitacu, and Ucluelet.
