Volunteer with WCRS
Give your time, make a lasting impact.
Volunteering is an great way to connect with others who share your interests and contribute to the success of the Society’s programs. One of our most rewarding opportunities is assisting with the preparation of the Community Lunch and then sharing it with members of the community.
Below you will find an application form. You can complete and submit it by email to admin@wccrs.ca, or drop it off in person at the Coastal Community Services Hub at your convenience.
Weekly Lunch and Holiday Lunch Volunteers
Each year, this program benefits from the support of local community members who generously volunteer their time to prepare, cook, and serve the lunches. Their commitment enables WCRS to welcome individuals for a hot lunch each week and offer a festive meal during the Holidays, growing a sense of community connection and support.
WCRS is truly grateful for the continued dedication of our volunteers and donors. We extend our sincere thanks for their invaluable contributions.
Program Volunteers
Some of our programs offer meaningful opportunities for qualified volunteers to get involved and assist in delivering critical services to those in need. These volunteers play an essential role in supporting our work and helping us achieve our mission of empowering our community.
Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) Team
A team of trained responders dedicated to providing support to individuals, families, and groups after a death or near-death incident.
Sexual Assault Services (SAS) Team
A team of trained responders who provide support and advocacy for people of all genders (ages 13+) who are survivors of sexual assault.
Business Community Support
Many local businesses in Ucluelet and Tofino consistently support our efforts through generous donations of food, products, and services. WCRS extends its heartfelt thanks to all of these incredible businesses for their ongoing generosity and their important role in supporting our work within the community.
