Program Description
The Women’s Outreach Program responds to the needs of women
and their dependent children who have experienced or are
at risk of violence.
The Program provides short term counselling, support, referrals, service navigation, advocacy and community education.
A Women’s Outreach Worker can:
Provide emotional support
Accompany individuals through legal and government systems
Provide crisis intervention
Assist with transport to appointments
Make referrals to appropriate services
Deliver education workshops on violence against women.
Weekly drop in times are available.
No appointment necessary.
Wednesdays from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm at our Tofino location.
Thursdays from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm at our Ucluelet location.

Connection Through Community Discussion Group
This new program is delivered in partnership with our Community Outreach Program and covered wellbeing, social issues,
resiliency and empowerment.
